African Services Committee (ASC)-Ethiopia draws its foundations from its affiliate ASC-New York (ASC-NY) USA, which has more than 37 years of experience with founding mission to improve the health and self-sufficiency of NYC’s African immigrant communities through the provision of direct health, housing, social and legal services, focusing primarily on HIV prevention, testing and care.  
ASC-Ethiopia is international non-profit humanitarian organization, founded in 2003 in Ethiopia registered and licensed by the Agency as a Foreign Charity. ASC currently operates in five regions of Ethiopia namely, Addis Ababa, Oromia (Zeway), Amhara (Kombolcha), Tigray (Mekele) and SNNP (Hawassa) providing free of charge clinical services including HIV/AIDS prevention, testing & ARV treatment, Sexual and Reproductive Health/Family Planning services, TB & STI testing and treatment, Care and Support Services for OVCs and PLHIV with comprehensive laboratory investigation services. In addition we have a well-established youth resource and recreational centers located in the clinics.
