About Agriteam
Agriteam Canada is a Canadian international development consulting firm based in Calgary, Alberta and Gatineau, Quebec. It provides management and technical expertise to developing and transitional country partners on projects that promote sustainable growth and meaningful opportunities for people to improve their lives. Agriteam Canada was established in 1986 and has since designed and implemented more than 250 projects worldwide in sectors including agriculture, health, education, private sector development, governance, mining, and legal and judicial reform.
About Agriteam in Ethiopia
In 2011, Agriteam Canada began working in Ethiopia through implementing the Safety Net Support Facility funded by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD). Agriteam continues to manage a scaled-down version of this project through direct support from the Productive Safety Net Programme (administered by the World Bank). Agriteam also manages a Dutch/Canadian-funded small scale and micro irrigation project in Ethiopia that is in its first year.
