Kombolcha Textile Share Company was established in 1984 G.C at Kombolcha Town in the South Wollo Administration Zone of the Amhara Regional State, 380 km North of Addis Ababa. The Company has renovated its old production line by the new state-of-the-art tecnology; and started production in the 2003 E.C budget year.
it is producing 100 % cotton fabrics, bed sheets, bed covers, pillow covers towels and yarn. The Annual theoretical capacity of the company is 5 million kg cotton yarn and 25 million square meter of cotton fabrics when it works in three shifts. A finishing plant with a cacity of dying, printing and finishing 30 million square meters of fabrics per annum. Its main export destinations are Italy, China, Netherlands and Turkey. Its ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 certified Company.
